Green Juice

Happy new week!

Is there anything better than starting the day with freshly made juice? It just feels so good to get in masses of veggies and fruits first thing in the morning. This is a very delicious and quite mild green juice with sweetness from some lovely green apples. I also love to add lots of lime and lemon to my juices for a super fresh taste. Also, you can never go wrong with fresh ginger root. For those of you concerned about the lack of fibre and/or the amount of sugar in juices, read my thoughts on these topics in this post.

What have you been up to this weekend? Lots of shopping and lots of chilling at home for me. Yesterday I spent the entire afternoon on the sofa watching movies and it was awesome! Sometimes you just have to listen to your body and REST. I actually don't feel my best at the moment and my appetite is quite low, so I just try to go with the flow and rest and give my body what it craves (namely juices, fruit, pasta and avocado toast). Juicing is such a simple way to get some extra nutrients when you don't really feel like eating that many veggies. Cheers to healing!

  1. Green drinks also acts as a gentle detox to the system, so when you start taking Green energy drinks, use under 1 teaspoon per serving! Work up the minerals gradually.

  2. It's a godsend! So, sangria, right? Lately, I found one worthy home-made sangria with only one day of fermenting! Listen closely... take your welles manual hydraulic juice press, pour there 2 bottles of white wine, 2 cups of club soda, half of cup filled with your favorite syrup, 2 apples, 2 pears and press on! Then pour in all in a bottle and set aside for 24 hours only. Enjoy!
