The idea with green smoothies is to make a regular fruit smoothie but with the addition of some kind of greens to make it even more nutritious. My favourite is baby spinach since it has a very mild taste. I also like to use kale when in season here in Sweden. In this recipe I also added a small piece of zucchini for some extra green power. If you're unaccustomed to green smoothies, you could start off with less greens and/or more banana.
Green Liquorice Smoothie
1 cup plant milk (I used oat milk)
1 tbsp hulled hemp seeds
2-3 big handfuls of baby spinach
1 tsp liquorice root powder
1/2 squeezed lemon
1. Begin with blending the milk with the hemp seeds and spinach. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend again until smooth. Cheers!
