Roasted almonds flavoured with tamari is such an easy and delicious salty snack. For this recipe you could also use shoyu or just regular soy sauce. Apart from snacking, these almonds can be used as a crunchy salad topping as well. With all the healthy fats and minerals found in almonds, this is so much healthier than a bowl of candy. Enjoy!
Tamari Roasted Almonds
1 small bowl
1 cup almonds
2 tsp tamari
1. Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees Celsius (300 F).
2. Put the almonds in a small bowl. Pour over tamari and stir thoroughly.
3. Spread the almonds out on a baking tray covered with parchment paper. Roast for about 15 minutes. Stir once during this time.
