How good are kale chips? Usually I make simple kale chips with just oil, salt, pepper and paprika. This is a variation of that recipe where the chips are baked with a little almond flour, which gives them a delicious flavour and a little extra crunch. Kale Chips are one of the best things I know and I could probably eat them every day without ever getting tired. Chips packed full of nutrients - almost to good to be true!
Kale Chips with Almond Crunch
2 large kale leaves
1/2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp almond flour
Herbal salt and paprika powder to taste
1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees (300 F).
2. Tear bite-sized kale pieces off their stems. Place them on a baking tray covered with parchment paper.
3. Drizzle with oil, season with salt and paprika and sprinkle with almond flour. Mix around a bit with your fingers, so that all the kale pieces are covered with some oil, spices and almond flour. Make sure that the kale pieces are not on top of each other.
4. Bake in the oven for about 15-18 minutes, until the chips are crispy but not burnt.
