Sometimes when I make these kinds of spreads or hummus I like to use white beans (like cannellini beans) instead of chickpeas for a smoother consistency. This spread is of course extra creamy and smooth thanks to the avocado.
Packed full of protein and healthy carbs from the beans and healthy fats from the avocado, this spread is your toast's new best friend.
Avocado Chickpea Spread
1 small bowl
1 1/2 cup boiled white beans (or use 1 can of beans for a simpler version)
1 squeezed lime
1 clove of garlic, pressed or grated
1/2 tsp herbel salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp hot paprika powder
1. Rinse the beans thoroughly if you're using canned beans.
2. Put all the ingredients in a food processor and mix until the spread is completely smooth.
